“Hey Mandy, have
you got any clue?” asked Laura on phone. “Just chill, don’t stress yourself. We
have six days left. Mrs. Sara gave me hot chocolate and it was so good, you
just missed it,” said Mandy without bothering about the case. Laura shook her
head, “how can I explain this, stupid?!”
Later, both of
them went to cafeteria. “Can’t you understand? Mr. Phillipe expects some
evidence to be given every day,” scolded Laura. “Okay, don’t get upset, my
friend. Let’s fix this issue,” said Mandy. They left the cafeteria and headed
to Mr. Phillipe’s house. “Welcome my detectives, what have you found?” asked
Mr. Phillipe. “We have found a wooden bracelet with some ink on it. I have
given it to the analyst,” said Laura. “Okay girls, now go home and get ready
for tomorrow,” said Mr. Phillipe.
The next morning
Laura, Mandy, Mr. Phillipe, and the police crew went to the court. “Mr. Adam
Reynold, age 39, a police man. He has created a vaccine for this COVID. Professor
Heather Davis kidnapped two children, and they tried the vaccine on an
8-year-old boy named Sean Smith, who went to play tennis with his friends,
while the same had happened to a 10-year-old girl named Kristine Sanders, who went
to buy some provisions for her mother. Both did not return home. And our young
detective, Miss. Laura Belle and her assistant Miss. Mandy Brown have found
that they had kidnapped those two kids. And here is your evidence, your honor,”
said Mr. Phillipe to the judge. And the judge declared that both of the
criminals will suffer in jail for 30 years. The kids’ parents thanked Laura and
all the others for helping them.
“Sir, my
daughter is missing for the past three days,” someone said at the back, and Laura
heard it. Detective Laura will return again with another epic mystery.

FAILURE _ A KEY TO SUCCESS
FAILURE-A KEY TO SUCCESS
- Bairavi
Sundaram.
On February 1990,
was born a young boy, for a good couple. But soon after his birth, his father
passed away. He grew older and was about to join a college, but due to his
family’s condition and lack of finance, he was not admitted in the college.
In a roadside
hotel, he saw a board that read, “servants needed.” He approached the owner to
join as a servant in the hotel. The owner, who was the cook of the hotel, asked
his name and he replied, “Jackie, but people would call me Jack.” He was
appointed and he was the only servant in that hotel.
income that he would
earn from this hotel. He got an idea, which he said to his owner. His idea was a
one plus one offer for the food that is quite common. The owner agreed and they
started implementing their idea, but there was no improvement.
One day he met
an old man, who was laying in front of their hotel. The owner showed all his
bad moods and started yelling at the old man. But Jack did not do so. He went
near him, got his blessings and provided breakfast for him. But the owner did
not like this, and he said “If you do like this then every beggar would ask for
food, where will we go if we provide food free of cost? Avoid doing this, Jack,”
he warned him.
Of course, Jack showed humanity and kindness towards the old man, but
the real reason was the motive to make the hotel popular. The old man, after
his breakfast in the hotel, conveyed that news to everyone. The hotel started
providing food for beggars free of cost.
After a week, beggars decided to pay something in return. It can be in
cash or in kind. This made their hotel popular and Jack and his owner were
interviewed by the leading TV channels about their success, as well as their
humanity that they provided food for beggars without expecting anything in
return.
Finally, they had developed their hotel and appointed some beggars who were
willing to work as servants. Jack had completed his bachelor’s degree with
distant learning, passing with flying colours, and was promoted as an
accountant in the same hotel. Jack’s dream was fulfilled, and thus made his
mother proud and happy.

FAY OF MY LIFE
FAY OF MY LIFE
A never ending love,
Which is as beautiful as a dove.
Every day she wields a title,
Which isn’t brittle.
It is an honour,
To have a title “mother”.
Happy birthday
My beautiful fay.
By, N.M.Sudhiksha.
A lovely birthday wish to my mother in the form of verse.

A Salute To Our Indian Army
You are in a team,
With the same dream.
You respect our country,
Neglect your comforts,
And suspect the criminals.
You act as a hedge,
By saying our country’s pledge.
India as a car,
You are the wheels to make that move.
You suffer torture,
For India’s bright future.
The whole day you creep,
By sacrificing your sleep.
You are the perfect nail
to nail our country’s beauty.

Head Over Heels
Sleepless nights, all by your side,
My blushing face that I try to hide.
Strolling with you, hand in hand,
Glimpsed only beautiful terrains in place of barren land.
Messy hair and untamed beard,
Remind me that my tastes are weird.
Warrior chests and your peevish smile,
Lost in meandering for you, another mile.
Your gleaming eyes never left mine,
Your absence makes me whine.
Your euphonious voice, I can hear you talking all day long,
Melts my anger, even if I'm not wrong.
My puerile attitude, difficult for anyone to bear,
Fortunately, you loved me for it, I swear.
Seeking forth your dark eyes,
Makes me go weak by knees.
Your modesty makes any girl crave,
I warn them, I'll dig them a grave.
The nonchalant glance you throw upon me,
Brings never-ending bright curves etching from me.
Your handsomeness is deeply catastrophic,
Makes me forget myself whenever I see you.
The shyness and timidity mask which I wore till now,
Is torn apart by your love.
Sentence me a lifetime of imprisonment in your heart,
Together let's make this life an art.
Wishing to be a refugee in your arms,
And left for eternity enchanted by your charms.
