Well, everybody knows today’s situation. The world is completely sealed. Our current
situation is so pathetic that we have clean air but we all have our masks on! It is like The
Third World War, biologically. Okay, let’s jump into the content.
Those who longed for holidays are now fed up of it. Well, I’m one of them. I just
walked out of my 10th grade in flying colours. All I expected was to break the nut of the
shells! And I just did them. I wanted to have memorable holiday, as I worked like an ox to fly
through with good marks. Well, all my prior ideas and plans now unfortunately can’t be
executed due to the spooky freaking virus THE NOVEL CORONA!
It’s been 4 months and 10 days since I’m locked up at home. Though I found few ways
to kill time, I feel a little distress. At times I have great time with my family, which is purely
bliss. Though it is the best family holiday, I miss the atrocities with my friends. To be frank I
was bored of boredom, thinking of boredom again and again. I really don’t know how many
days are yet to put my enthusiasm off me. I feel like I’m fading in and being lost in this
lockdown.
This lockdown has widened the gap between sports and extra-curricular activities, and
me. I really don’t know how I’m going to cope up after this long holiday, which is like a
polar bear’s hibernating period. Home sweet home had become a home sweet cage for us. I
really pity caged animals, now. I don’t know how they live their curtailed life. At times this
pandemic provokes me and triggers me to sneak out of home. But then I realised life is more
precious than fun.
So now I have made up my mind to utilize my time like indulging myself in new
activities and I would like to share them. I learnt through an online class, did calligraphy,
read e-books, learnt a new language, painted, sketched, at times researched about the cure for
this pandemic, helped mom, and played traditional indoor games.
A general advice to all my comrades is ‘don’t waste your time with movies or series on Netflix,’ instead I feel YouTube has lot new lessons, which we can learn; we must optimistically use them. One can also meditate, do yoga, and listen to some music to attain peace of mind.
I’m now longing for those usual fast, furious, furore days. I hope everything gets back
to being well soon. Let’s all join hand-in-hand in rage, and defeat the micro silent killer
corona virus. Again, I would like to say, ‘don’t take yourself to the verge of death for the
sake of fun. Stay home, stay safe - like me.’
To, the past and future days:
Come back soon. Bring those fabulous and healthy days.
“I’ll wait for you until the oceans dry”
And
“Just be the smell of rain
I had invited storms for.”
